A 15% thread improvement and a cutting feature outperform traditional Type ‘17’ thread cutting screws. Extra sharp point easily penetrate wood without pre-drilling. Yellow zinc dichromate plated provides corrosion resistance but is not recommended for ACQ lumber or exterior applications.
